Complaint against Indian Railways

I booked a ticket with Indian Railways for Delhi-Guwahati Rajdhani for 20March 2013. The ticket was confirmed, but on the day of journey we got to know that it is coming under waiting category. There was no prior information on this by indian railways, so we faced a lot of inconvenience. I request you to please look into the matter and give some resolution so that such a problem does not occur again to any passenger.
