fraud in data billing by AIRTEL - no proof or details offered inspite of request

Hello,
This is about a fraud in the billing for DATA plans by Airtel.
My wife and I have been Airtel customers for around six years and been using data for over two years, currently on a 1GB plan (on 2G spectrum) and have always been using only a few MB every month.
Last month (March-April) on her number 9998999858, we got a bill of over Rs.5,000. The detailed bill shows continuous data usage on three days from 30 March till 01 April, at which time she was not using any data or application. Each hour has been wrongly and excessively billed for around Rs.200-300 during these two days, totalling to Rs.15,000 out of which 10,000 has been deducted as being under 1GB and the rest has been charged to me. In 2G data, using any internet connection for Rs.300 worth per hour is just not possible on a sustained basis!
I called Airtel customer care and politely asked for details of the data usage – but they have refused to give any details about it. I strongly believe that I have not used this amount of data, and until I get a justification or proof of that usage, I will consider this as a fraud by Airtel.
