Illegal Billing Vodafone

Recently I got billed around two thousand bucks for my monthly Vodafone bills. Upon calling them for details, I was informed that there were some international SMSes. When I checked the number with them, I found out that those messages are iMessages sent to my sister in US. Vodafone folks continued their arguments that they charged me for the iMessages as they were international. They are not awae that iMessages are sent between two apple phones and it doesnt matter whether they are national or international, it is illegal to charge for the iMessages.

Three days later I called to find out the fate of my complaint number: 1505992752, some Konishka Adhikary, supervisor in nature, who is even more unaware of things, explained there can be no further discussion as they are international SMSes. He seemed to care very less about they are iMessages or not. When I said, the iMessages are blue in color, and I can prove from my phone they are iMessages which got charged, he unapologetically said go ahead and prove it, but we verified from our end that we charged you for international SMSes. Hence I approach Consumer Court.

My bill also charged me for one MMS, for which I have no clue. I raised the query also in the ticket 1505992752, and again Mr. Konishka Adhikary, very casually said he cannot reveal the mystery of the MMS as he cannot see the number to which it is sent to, and no questions can be further answered for that one MMS Vodafone charged me for.

I wonder how much Vodafone is gaining by charging their million customers 3 Rs each for every MMS they are charging, inspite of the subscribers not sending any MMS. This is a crime, please look into it Consumer Court. We are not here to make Vodafone rich.
