This is Mubeen Akhtar and my tikona user ID is 1108021175.
In 2013 I got a new tikona connection under the quarterly plan ADULQ512K from the agent name Sandeep (09910719133). When he was installing modem and the connection at my home I asked him repeatedly about the plan and FUP, He said that speed of 512kbps will be there for three months (which is billing period for my plan) no matter how much you download.
I never got any problem from tikona service. It was hardly a few days in a months when I did not get connectivity otherwise it worked really well and I got speed of 512kbps till 4th July 2014. Now I started getting speed of 150kbps and sometimes 200kbps. No more than 250kbps.
When I inquired for the same in the customer care on 7th July 2014 what I came to know about the fair usage policy and all. (Which I was never informed about at the begining) and what the customer care executive said is that "Sir your usage have exceeded" and now you will get this speed (~200kbps) till your billing period (18 August 2014) which is almost 2 months. (my usage was 80gb from June 1st to July 4th). I paid my bill of 1680 on May 28. (June-Aug bill is paid)
I just wanted to raise the concern that in the plan details it is clearly mentioned "No GB restrictions" "No speed downgrade" in the case of ADULQ512K . This is clearly a cheat policy Tikona is providing. I think that the tikona sales person's are being trained to do so.
Please take the issue into consideration and resume my normal speed that I was promised. It is sad that I recommended tikona to one of my friend.
