This is a Complaint Against Goibibo & Indigo Airlines on the terms of possible Online Shopping Scam.
On 10th July 2014 evening on verge of Family Medical emergency, a Ticket was booked on Goibibo.com from Bangalore to Mumbai (with return) for Passenger : Hulas Chand Jain on Indigo registered mobile : 9449637397.
The ticket was booked at a price of INR 12,326 with ref: Your Booking No: GOFLDbe5541405001309 and payment being deducted from Bank account immediately on Goibibo.com website. Further the reservation was not confirmed on the spot even though the payment was deducted with a Transaction ID : 12629935
After 45 minutes a customer service adviser from GOIBIBO states there is difference in Fare which needs to be paid, as indigo Airlines has not confirmed your reservation due to increase in cost. I don't think this is our problem, as both GOIBIBO & Indigo Airlines don't have good business relationship
Now the question is :
* Why the cost was not reflected at the time of booking?
* Why the payment was deducted from Bank Account if there was a cost difference?
GOIBIBO & Indigo has caused lot of grievances & inconvenience towards booking a simple travel plan.
GOIBIBO claims that the payment of Booking is with the Indigo Airlines, even though the reservation was not confirmed by Indigo Airlines... and refund of payment would take atleast 4-5 Business working days...
Further I ask the Consumer Court to accept this matter and take appropriate action against these Online Shopping Scams...
