Missing Items inside a package

Dear Consumer Court,

I have sent a package to my friend from Safdarjung Enclave S.O 110029 Post Office Delhi to Aizawl Mizoram on 7th May 2013 by SPEED POST
My friend received the package on 14th May but all the items inside the package were gone/stolen.

The items inside the package are as follows
1. PUMA WOMEN BLACK EL REY SLIPON GEO FLATS worth Rs 3,299
2. One Bed Sheet worth Rs 500
3. One envelope which carry Rs 350 inside

I couldn't understand that all the items inside were gone and she still received only the empty package. This is, i believe, robbery.

I have complained it to the India Post Office customer care but nothing happened
My package tracking number is ED 874519470 IN
My complaint number is 100053 74243

I believe that someone, one of the staff to be exact, from the India Post Office, somewhere is breaking the bond of trust between the consumer and the government postal services and robbing us.

Something has to be done but i do not know what to do

Please kindly help me with this situation
