This is regarding my complaint with Motorola that I raised after facing multiple issues in the phone.
I had purchased Moto X from flipkart on Apr 2014. Initially, I was facing the Sim Slot issue, the phone stopped to detect SIM. I thought that the problem is with connection and sim. So, I even changed the SIM. But the issue persisted. I finally gave my phone to Satyam Communications in July 2014. I had to followup with the team endlessly for the phone. I had to call 'n' number of times to get an update on the phone. Such a wastage of time and energy. They took a lot amount of time(weeks) to return the phone.
Even after getting the phone serviced for the first time, the phone was not fully functional. They told be that they had replaced the motherboard. The SIM Slot problem had ended but many other problems cropped. Below are the problems:
1. Microphone was not working properly.
2. Volume buttons were not as smooth as before
3. Power button was not smooth like before
4. WIFI detection has lowered
This time the phone was returned after a week, though they said it would take a couple of days. Anyways, the phone was returned.
Now, after the second servicing as well, the phone is not fully functional. Old problems are resolved but the new issues have arised now.
1. Audio jack is not working at all
2. Speaker quality have degraded. Audibility is lowered
3. Have to charge for a longer period to get the phone fully charged
Since the time I had purchased this phone, I have been running and trying to make this phone fully functional. Motorola have not been at all supportive in resolving the issue.
I have called Motorola Customer Center multiple number of times. They always tell me that they will help and will respond in 48 hours but it never happens. Everytime I call, I have to tell them the entire story with no fruitful response. They then advise me to go the Service Center and submit the phone, provide them the job number for escalation. They told me that they would help me with the replacement of the phone. But, nothing happened. I gave them the job number but the phone was returned to me with new problem. They did not do anything for the replacement. Service Center people says me that its not in their hand to replace the phone or request for the replacement. They say that Motorola is directly to be contacted.
Customer care says to visit Service Center, Service center says to contact Customer Care, its such a viscous circle.
I want to file a case with Consumer Court. Please tell me the process so that I can get all the money I spent on the phone+compensation money of such a harassment. Also, where can I get information about Nodal Officer and Appellate Authority details of Motorola, Gautam Budhdha Nagar, Noida division.
