disappointed by the hathway internet service on first day of the installation

I applied for hathway internet on monday 27th May 2013, the executive who came to collect my application told me that the installation will be done within 48hours and internet will be available immediately after installation. On 29th May 2013, I got a call from a person telling that cabling has done and the cable just left at the window as there was no one in my house. Same day afternoon I got a call regarding the modem installation, I asked the person to come after 6pm and he agreed to the timing. But no one came on that day. The sad thing is that I had couple of programs on the evening which I had to postpone for the installation but no one turned to install the modem. I called the customer care couple of times and the response was not satisfying. Finally the customer executive told that the modem installation will be done on 30th May 2013. Same again, the installation engineer called me and told that he will be coming by 6pm evening. This time I made sure and called the engineer couple of time before 5pm and remind him about the installation. The engineer did not come by 6 and I waited till 7pm and made a call to him which he did not pickup. Later he called me back telling he is some other customer site and he will be come by 9pm. Finally he reached by 9:30pm and told me that there is some server issue so he cannot show me the internet is up or not. He just connected a modem to the cable and given an installation receipt to sign. I am disappointed by this attitude, I really felt that the engineer just visited to show that they done the installation and don't care the internet is up or not.

I am calling the customer help care number but no resolution to my problem.
