On Friday (3rd April) I get a message from reliance that my MNP from reliance CDMA to GSM has been done successfully and I can insert the new GSM sim which has been succesfully activated. On doing so I realized that the new sim has not been activated. On the contrary what has been done is that the incoming on my current CDMA sim has been completely stopped for the last 48 hours. Since today morning I have called reliance customer care 4 times, apart from sending an e-mail. The first customer care exec. says that the entire process takes 144 hrs. and since my application was received on 29th everything will be ok by evening. In the evening a new customer care exec. says that the process is done and I should give them the new sim no.. When I call to give the gsm sim no. the third exec. says they do not need it. The fourth call results in another exec. asking for another 48 hours before the issue is resolved.
I am deeply shocked and sad with the way reliance has been treating me the entire day without even seriously attempting to solve my problem. I have already lost important calls due to no incoming. I hope that some one in reliance understands the issues such apathy in their behavior causes and rectifies the problem by starting the GSM sim service.
