TIkona - No Service, No Solution & Threatning by Advocate/Legal Notice

My name is Taranjeet SIngh and i was using TIkona INternet from last few months. I lodged a complaint against frequent disconnection & very slow Internet Speed on around 20 April,14. NObody responded back to me for 15 days and untill then when i stopped my payment. I sent them first reminder mail on 5 Mar, 14. I mentioned that resolve me query on urgent purpose so tha ti can keep your service continue. I stopped my payment because no one from Tikona Customer care was able to solve my problem. The charged me late payment charges of Rs 100 against last bill. I request them to refund the late payment charges as your Internet was not working from last 15 days & it was your fault that i have not made payment but they said you should go to cyber cafe & make payment. Still my Internet was not working properly. On july 5, i escalated this issue to Mr J Nair who is Appellate Authority of TIkona but even he did not responded to couple of my mails. I sent reminder mail on July 8, Jul 16, Jul 22, and at last July 24 to both J Nair & Tikona Customer Care There were 3-4 visits from Tikona engineer and they were also not able to solve my problem. One of them said that this is issue of Tower, there is too much load on Tower that is why you are not getting frequent disconnection & very slow browsing, we cannot do anything in it. At alst my internet was totally dead

During this time i was using my Mobile Internet , i faced both monetary as well as non-monetary loss. I have even sent proof of INternet charges that i have incurred when TIkona was not working. I work in a field where Internet is very compulsary. Even i request them to disconnect my service but inspite of disconnection request they were keep charging me bill. I sent them disconnection request on IN these 3-4 months course, i did not received single call from MR J Nair or CUstomer Care thay what is my problem. As per TIkona i have to make payment for the time period where my Internet was not working. I have all mails with me of my communication with TIkona & Mr J Nair. Last reminder sent by me was on Aug 9.

I have faced both work loss & monetary loss for 3 months. instead of providing COmepnsation to Customer, TIkona has sent me a Legal notice. I was shocked that there is no one who listen to customer who is having trouble from last couple of months

Neither Mr J Nair nor Customer care reverted back. Tikona has sent me legal Notice & forwarded my complaint to Mumbai Court that i am defaulter who is not paying bill.

Is there no value for Customer? Do anyone listen to Customer ?
Mr VInod Kumar Sharma (Advocate from Mumbai Court) to whom TIkona forwarded my issue is speaking to me in very weird way & threaten me to make payment.

Is this a way to treat a Customer? All big companies with their big power & money can do whatever but who listen to a Customer?



Here is copy of Mail that i sent to Mr J nair on 24 July,14

"Today is 24 July,14 & its been 25 days, still i am not able to access Internet properly. I have received your text message lately to pay the bill including Late payment Penalty fees for last month.

First, late payment is due to your technical problem, not from my side. I need to remove this outstanding charges.

Second, for whole month neither my internet worked nor any of your engineer solved my problem. So why shall i pay you ? For not providing solution to customer complaint ? Tell me good reason to pay my bill. I need to complete refund the amount for 24 days of internet problem. This day may increase depends on you whether you going to solve my issue o not.

Third, i also want to claim for compensation of all the difficulties & hurdles i have faced in this time period. One can understand if problem exist for 2-3 days but when a problem exist for straight 24 days & no help, what do you call that ?

In this time period i have made tons of call to customer care regarding my issue & mobile internet that i have used for my work because your internet is not working. I want to claim for all hurdles & extra payment that i have paid that could be either calls made to customer care or mobile internet that i have used in these 24 days. Please see the files attached hereby with this mail that includes Calls to customer care & internet usage Charges. I have faced mental as well as financial loss. I need refund & compensation for both.

I need a strong response from superior staff or any concerned person & tell me whether your are going to solve my issue or will just generate bills every month? If not i may have to seek help from Consumer Court."
