SUB: NOTICE BEFORE FILING CONSUMER COMPLAINT
It is to get to your notice about the working condition and cheating of shopclues.com and their dealers. We tried hard to get in touch with the grievance or escalation team but don't think there is anything as such to take care of the things.
Shopclues does NOT have a working product available on short notice due to their network of SHADY/SUBstandard sellers and merchandisers who sell fake/used/defective/stolen products.
They take customer's money today and promise to deliver a product within say 2-5 days, and then keep delaying for months until customer is fed up of calling again and again and cancels and demands refund as per their immoral refund guarantee. They then take another month to return the money which they have to legally anyways someday or the customer can actually sue. Now by this stage, they have kept your money for couple months and earned INTEREST on it; while you tear your hair apart.
Its safe to say THIS HAS BEEN MY WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER.
The Number of online complaints and please for help I see is something I havent seen before ,but very difficult to sustain it in the longer run with these kind of operations and unethical behavior.
I ordered for a product [Samsung 48h6400] 48 inches tv from shopclues.com on 2014-09-23 with order no 21076835 .I paid the full amount "67009" by credit card.
As per their reocrds initiallly It was supposed to be dispatched on 26th Sept 2014 which was later changed to date 29th Sept 2014.
later with their delay in process I have cancelled my order on 30th Sept 2014
Awaiting for that refund, with no response after 5days when I called them on their customer support no- 01244414888
I have registered the complaint with the ticket no 1159501
Saying your order is not cancelled successfully due to some technical glitch.and they have initiated same on 5th Oct 2014 and said to allow them 2 working days to process
When I called them on 10th for the same, replied to wait for two more days it is already forwarded to accounts team on high priority,
Again when I called and forced them to inform me the exact status from their accounts team....
After a long call hold they replied saying your request is not yet started, by tomorrow 6.pm you can expect a message from us on this refund initiatiation for sure.
I also emailed them if my problem is not addressed then will book a complaint in consumer forum court too but no improvement. If you write them email, some automated reply comes mentioning that "kindly wait for 24 hours and they will resolve the query" irrespective of what is your query. You will never get call back OR reply to your email by their team. If you call them everytime some new executive pick up the call who doesn't have much knowledge about your past query and everytime you will have to explain from zero and again they assure that they are working on it and you will get call back on status within 24 hours, but 101% sure, you are going to receive any follow up.
In my case, whenever I call there customer service they always say sorry for your inconvenience caused, we have escalated the issue on higher priority wait for 24-48 hours. Today at the time of writing this email it has been nearly more than 3 weeks and you well know how they resolve their high priority issue.
Still I am clueless whether they are going to refund me OR they have grabbed my money.
So please help me to get my money back and also kindly charge them heavy penalty amount as they are wasting my valuable time from more than 3 weeks now and added to it giving a mental torture.
