I had placed an order with Homeshop 18 for a nokia lumia 820 worth Rs 19495.00, the order number was 925937607 sub order number 58433327, the courier details were 4793849756 through Aramex .
I received the product on 29th May at 1:00 pm. I opened the courier and inserted the sim card but on switching the device ON the was a message displayed sim card error. I tried the sim card in my existing phone it worked fine. I lodged a complain with Homeshop 18 at around 3:00 pm complain number 82527597. I even went to the Nokia care and was informed that the sim card tray is damaged and it was a physical damage. I was even said by then that Homeshop 18 is not an authorized dealer and nokia wont be able to help me out.
The Homeshop 18 next day agreed to pay in for the repair of the mobile, I did not agree for it at first since I had paid for a new product and donot expect to use a repaired one. I took the effort to go to the nokia care once again for the repair but after hearing the cost of the repair the Homshop 18 people took their words back and asked me to get a Death on arrival certificate from nokia or else Homeshop 18 would bear 50% of the repair charges. I was even told that Homeshop 18 has done a check on the product before dispatching it. If that is the case than I have not got a seal pack product as promised by Homeshop 18 and the product was tempered before deliver.
The Nokia people are not ready to accept and issue a deat on arrival certificate and HomeShop 18 are just killing time.
