My Vodafone number is 9884874801. I am raising this complaint to put to notice some of the billing practices which Vodafone is following with the corporate connection that I took two months back. When I took the postpaid connection (from the customer executive who came to my office) the plans explained to me was like this. Rs 249 + taxes with 600 minutes free all India and totally free to the second number which took together with this corporate connection. Apart from that the customer executive had informed me a 1GB data pack for Rs 98. When the first bill came after some 20 days of usage, the amount was Rs 1200+. When enquired at the customer center they informed me that the 1GB data plan is not activated and instead they have charged me. When I raised against them and made regular calls to their customer centre, they finally accepted the mistake and reduced the bill amount. I thought that as a possible mistake while activation of a new number. But this time again Iam seeing my bill amount as Rs 1200+. When I called the customer center again I was informed that this consists of voice call + data charges. The funniest thing is that I haven't even enabled the data connection in my mobile phone. But Vodafone was somehow managed to bill me up with some special criteria which they only knows. When I told the customer service personnel clearly about my usage, she started telling me that the amount might not the real amount and a new amount might be send at the time of billing at all. Honestly, they made the whole process a bit more complicated.
Now the point I want make clear here is that, if you are billing me for something that I haven't used, I don't want your service. After all what good is there with a service provider who blindly gives you a bill. The credibility of any service provider could be determined form these kind of actions. To Vodafone services - please check properly before you issue a bill. Or if this is the way you are billing - giving false information to make a customer take a connection, and afterwards showing the true face, I require a disconnection immediately. Any way if you are turning a blind eye to this complaint, I will post you response here.
